Speaking as a kid who has attended the Chile Festival since I was three, I can tell you some of the great things about it.
First, the food from Garcia’s is excellent and during the heat of the day there is always the Pepsi wagon with ice cold drinks, snow cones and free popcorn. Also there is a great craft show were you can buy all kinds of really cool stuff. We also have a craft table filled with all kinds of cool crafts from the people form the church.
There is one area completely devoted to kids. We play games, make crafts, and compete in contests.
The bake sale is loaded with so many tasty treats that you won’t know which to buy. The silent auction has so many cool gifts it is hard to decide on what to bid on first. We also sell Chile fest hats and other cool stuff. Don’t forget to look in on the book sale for some extra reading.
Finally remember to go to the gathering space to look at the mini shops. This years Chile fest is on the 19th of August from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
