2009 Chile Festival Raises Funds for Habitat for HumanityThe 12th Annual Chile Festival fund raiser to benefit Habitat for Humanity is coming August 29, 2009 to Shepherd of the Valley Presbyterian Church (Montaņo Rd. near Rio Grande Blvd.). This popular community gathering offers visitors great entertainment, wonderful arts and crafts, hot chile, delicious food, and an exciting silent auction. General Admission is FREE. Funds raised and donated by the Chile Festival have contributed to the construction of 11 homes. Come, have fun and help to raise money for another Habitat for Humanity home.

Cookies, cakes, pies, jams, jellies, breads, bars, personal specialties and favorites will be available for purchase in convenient packages of 3's, 6's and 12's at the Chile Festival. In response to the great demand we will feature many low-carb treats. Shepherd of the Valley has a well deserved reputation for great cooks, and we are happy to use our talents to serve.
